Lisa Conradi, PsyD, is the Executive Director at the Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Rady Children’s Hospital - San Diego (RCHSD). In this role, she oversees all programming at the Chadwick Center, a large children’s advocacy center that houses one of the largest trauma treatment centers in the nation. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and has received training on multiple evidence-based trauma-focused treatment practices, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). She has led the implementation of trauma-focused evidence-based practices for children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Conradi serves as a consultant for the CEBC and oversees its work at RCHSD. She is on the editorial board for the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment and Trauma and a frequent reviewer for the Journal of Child and Family Studies and the Child Welfare Journal. She has authored and co-authored a variety of publications on trauma screening and assessment practices, including co-authoring the recent book, Trauma-Informed Assessment with Children and Adolescents: Strategies to Support Clinicians. She has overseen the development of multiple resources and materials designed to help systems become trauma-informed and presented nationally on innovative practices designed to improve the service delivery system for children who have experienced trauma. Dr. Conradi lives in San Diego, CA, and enjoys traveling as much as she can, running, reading, and spending time with her husband and three cats.
