The Mindfulness-based Intervention – Teacher Assessment of Competence (MBI-TAC) assesses the application of skills in the six domains relevant to mindfulness teaching. Each of six domains (e.g. coverage and pacing of curriculum and guiding mindfulness practices) is rated on a six- point scale, anchored with behavioral descriptors for assessors to use as criteria (1 = Incompetent, 2 = Beginner, 3 = Advanced Beginner, 4 = Competent, 5 = Proficient, 6 = Advanced).
